The Challenge:

How can we educate the public about the need for ecological restoration after record-breaking forest fires in British Columbia?

The Client:

One Tree Planted (British Columbia)

Our Role:

Production company

Our Solution:

We travelled to Williams Lake in BC to film a short documentary with on-the-ground tree planting partners about the efforts to reforest parts of the province that were decimated by forest fires.

We focused on the team's efforts in partnership with the Tsilhqot'in Nation, in the community of Yunesit'in, filming an interview with Chief Russell Myers Ross, as well as key collaborators in the Provincial Government.

The Results:

The final video was instrumental in fundraising for One Tree Planted's multi-million dollar BC project.

From being used in targeted comms to high-value donors, to highlighting the collaboration with governmental agencies, and received 38k views on YouTube.
